Cost: $30.00Event Navigation

Format: In-Person
Presenter: Natalie Williams
Cost: $30
Description: Participants will become certified in Red Cross approved basic adult, child, and infant CPR and First Aid. The primary purpose of this training is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies. The training is designed to teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
All in-person trainings will be limited to 8 participants to allow for social distancing. If a waiting list is created, a duplicate training date will be set.
This training meets the criteria of a Health and Safety Training Topic. Child Care Rules require health and safety trainings to be completed once every 5 years. Smart Start of Yadkin County offered the initial Health and Safety Trainings back in 2017. We are starting a new rotation so that all 11 trainings will be offered again within the 5-year time frame. Please review your Health and Safety Training Record or call our office (336-679-7833) for more information.
