Child Care Resource Center has provided professional development for over 25 years. Our goal is to improve the quality of child care by offering high quality professional development opportunities for child care educators. Child Care Resource Center provides access to trainings throughout our region which includes Alleghany, Ashe, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties.

This is a 5-hour course designed to provide participants with an introduction to Foundations, North Carolina’s new Early Learning & Development. Must attend both sessions in order to receive credit. This training will provide participants with an introduction to Foundations, NC’s new Early Learning and Development expectations, how they are structured, and how to implement them in an early childhood setting. Participants will construct the knowledge base necessary to use these in supporting children in their learning and development by embedding the expectations in daily classroom planning and practice.
