FOR Providers

Healthy Social Behavior Resources

Supporting providers in the social-emotional development of the children they care for.

We know child care specialists “wear many different hats” when it comes to taking care of little ones. You work hard to keep your students safe, growing, and learning. Behavior and behavioral redirections can be one of the most challenging aspects of children’s socio-emotional development, and parents often look to providers for their expert help and advice.

Needing Additional Social Behavioral Guidance?

Our Behavior Specialists work with licensed child care programs to effectively prevent, identify, and address challenging behaviors in young children. They help programs create solution strategies within the classroom setting and with a child’s family to help diminish challenging behaviors in children 2-5 years of age. Behavior Specialists are available for professional development training and support both experienced and new classroom teachers across Region 10. The research basis for their philosophy is the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI).
