Smart Start of Yadkin County – Emergency Preparedness & Response PART 1

EPR in Child Care is an in-person training. It has two separate face-to-face training sessions (2 hours each) and a one-hour assignment between sessions. Session one covers planning and preparing for emergencies in early care and education settings, including an overview and introduction to the online EPR plan template. After session one, participants will be given an assignment of preparation work for completing the online EPR plan. Session two will be held 4 weeks later and covers questions about the assignment, practicing, responding, and recovery related to emergencies.

Credit Hours: 5 (Must complete PART 1 and PART 2 to receive)

*All trainings will run from approximately 6:30-8:30pm unless otherwise noted. A non-refundable $5 registration fee is required for all trainings, except for CPR/First Aid, which will be $30. In addition to the $5 registration fee, participants are to complete a Training Registration Form. Forms are available at our office or on our website www.yadkinchild.org, under the “Calendar” tab.
