Very young children are able to think, attend and remember, but their thinking, attending and memory are very reactive. Children need to be able to face the challenges of a changing, demanding and unpredictable world. To succeed in this arena, they will require problem-solving and decision –making skills to meet unexpected problems with the ability to compete and thrive in the 21st century. This session is designed to provide early childhood educators with the necessary knowledge of providing a foundation for young children to engage and meet future STEM outcomes.
