Why Quality Child Care Matters to The Community
Child Care Resource Center is strongly committed to nurturing community ties. Our relationship with children and families allows us an opportunity to share resourceful information with families. Through daily interaction, we collect essential data on child care supply and demand so that needs can be identified and solutions developed to meet those needs.
CCRC collaborates with other agencies to help educate community leaders on child care issues and works closely with state and national children’s organizations support initiatives that enable children to develop to their fullest potential.
Child Care Assessments
Child Care Resource Center houses information about the supply of child care throughout Forsyth and surrounding counties. Academic, government and/or social science leaders rely on such data pertaining to child care trends to better understand our community and its future. We provide information on the average cost of child care by type of facility; the average weekly cost of care by zip code, the number of child care spaces or type of care in a particular zip code.
