Professional Development Training
Child Care Resource Center has provided professional development for over 25 years. Our goal is to improve the quality of child care by offering high quality professional development opportunities for child care educators. Child Care Resource Center provides access to trainings throughout our region which includes Alleghany, Ashe, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties.

Surry – Creating Outdoor Learning Enviroment for Infants and Toddlers ” Its Not Called a Playground Anymore’

It’s not called “playground” anymore. This training will help participants understand the benefits of taking children outside daily and provide suggestions on how to create spaces for infants and toddlers outside that support all areas of learning and introduce them to the natural environment.

All trainings will be closed 10 minutes after the starting time. Anyone who enters the training after that time may sit in and participate but will not receive DCD credit.
