WFRC – Choosing & Using Appropriate Curriculum

This is a 5 hour training that focuses on how to choose the best curriculum for your program from the NC Divisions of Child Development 2012/2013 approved curriculum list. During this training we will explore and answer 3 BIG questions.
1. What is a curriculum and how does it support learning?
 2. How do we select and implement an approved curriculum?
 3. How do we know what we are doing is meeting the needs of all children? As we explore these questions, you will be able to use early childhood theory to select a curriculum, as well as identify and evaluate goals for implementing the curriculum that you select for your program.
