The purpose of this workshop is to provide a training on how quality care is found based on state regulation, observation, human intuition, and the safety/comfort of a facility based on a child’s needs. During this training we will be discussing what the 1–5-star rating scale means. The growth and development of your child and why social/emotional, physical, and cognitive interaction is important. The different types of child care programs and the benefit of each one. We will also discuss the different types of resources and websites that help make a more informed decision for childcare. Our goal is to provide an informative training that opens your mind to the world of quality child care.
