Playground Safety
This training will focus on the DCDEE regulations on safety and how-to procedures for planning and maintaining a safe and healthy outdoor environment.  The content will address specific equipment concerns, acceptable types of surfacing, routine inspections tips, etc.

Participants will learn the four main components of a high-quality curriculum for infants, toddlers, and twos; discuss developmentally-appropriate practices for this age group; reflect how the learning environment influences the attitudes and behaviors of children and adults; brainstorm ways to enhance social-emotional characteristics essential to school readiness.
