Child Care Resource Center has provided professional development for over 25 years. Our goal is to improve the quality of child care by offering high quality professional development opportunities for child care educators. Child Care Resource Center provides access to trainings throughout our region which includes Alleghany, Ashe, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties.

ITS-SIDS This training will discuss Infant Toddler Safe Sleep and risk reduction in childcare for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Presented by Vanessa Sawyer-Wilson. August 29, 2019 – 6:30 pm-8:30 pm Sold Out Playground Safety November 5, 2019 – 5:00 pm-9:00 pm Register Pint-Sized Play Training Series For Infant and Toddler/Twos Teachers Only Participants will learn the four main components of a high-quality curriculum for infants, toddlers, and twos; discuss developmentally-appropriate practices for this age group; reflect how the learning environment influences the attitudes and behaviors of children and adults; brainstorm ways to enhance social-emotional characteristics essential to school readiness.
