Communication with families is a vital component to a child’s school-home experience. Families are the child’s first teacher, so having a relationship with them that fosters bonds is important to the experiences the child and teacher have in the classroom. In this training, teacher will learn about ways to communicate and build bonds with families and how to encourage family’s participation in daily activities. They will learn how and when is appropriate times to engage families in hard conversations. Learn what good morning and afternoon pickup interactions look like and various communication techniques they can use in the classroom.
