Stokes – Emergency Preparedness & Response in Child Care

Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) in Child Care Training provides early educators with information and tools to prepare for many types of emergencies. The EPR in Child Care Training addresses the revised NC Child Care Rules on emergency preparedness, current best practice recommendations, and guidance on completing the online EPR Plan. The training is presented in ONE 5-hour session and includes a one-hour site assignment. You will need to bring a copy of your Building Floorplan with you to this session. Emergency preparedness and response (EPR) rules went into effect July 1, 2015. One designated individual from each center and Family Child Care Home is required to participate in this mandatory.

*Fee Schedule: Trainings/workshops are free for parents, families, grandparents, and foster parents; pre-registration required. There is a $5.00 fee for childcare providers needing DCDEE credits. Division of Child Development Early Education has approved all trainings. Training policies and procedures must be followed. Policies available at www.stokespfc.com.
