Stokes – Infant & Toddler Development Social Emotional Skills

Children begin developing social emotional skills from infancy. Understanding how to support development during this critical period is vital to infants and toddler’s overall well- being and future success in school and life. This professional development event explores the developing social emotional skills of infants and toddlers. Participants will learn to define and describe social emotional development, identify key social
emotional skills that contribute to school readiness, and gain richer insight into strategies that support social emotional development for infants and toddlers.

*All providers are welcome to attend professional development sessions, however first priority is given to Stokes County providers. Those outside of Stokes may utilize unfilled slots after the Stokes registration

*Fee Schedule: Trainings/workshops are free for parents, families, grandparents, and foster parents; pre-registration required. There is a $5.00 fee for childcare providers needing DCDEE credits. Division of Child Development Early Education has approved all trainings. Training policies and procedures must be followed.
