DAVIE- Foundations: Schedules, Routines & Rules PART TWO

• Location: ONLINE /VIRTUAL

• What: Join this training to explore how instructional practices related to schedules. routines and rules, supports children emotional-social development and learning. We will learn techniques to make these parts of your day smoother and educational for children. The training will benefit teachers and toddlers through pre-school age.

• Pre-registration is required. Use the links above to register.

• Trainings will be offered VIRTUALLY via ZOOM platform or in-person.

• Two “no-shows” with no explaination in one fiscal year, will result in being put on the waitlist for future trainings.

• Admittance is not allowed after the first 15 minutes of class.

• Certificates will be awarded at the end of class with completed surveys and evaluations and active participation.

• Kindness and respect for one another and the presenter are expected.

• Please be courteous and turn off your cell phone during the training. If you must take a phone call, please leave the training area.

• Children are not allowed in the training area & must be accompanied by an adult in the lobby at all times.

• CPR trainings are typically scheduled in the months of August, November, February and May. ITS-SIDS trainings are typically scheduled in the months of September, December, March and June.

TRAINING PAYMENT INFORMATION

Smart Start of Davie County will continue to provide free training for teachers who serve children birth to five in Davie County, unless otherwise noted below*.

If you must cancel, please remove yourself from the training sign up and contact the Smart Start Office at 336.751.2113 or info@daviesmartstart.org at least 3 business days prior to the meeting. A **$10 no-show fee will be charged to those that sign up for a class but do not attend. Space is limited in each class and no-shows take a training opportunity away from another child care professional.
