Professional Development Training
Child Care Resource Center has provided professional development for over 25 years. Our goal is to improve the quality of child care by offering high quality professional development opportunities for child care educators. Child Care Resource Center provides access to trainings throughout our region which includes Alleghany, Ashe, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties.

Stokes -NC FELDS (Foundations) in relation to activity planning

This training will look at the NC FELDS (Foundation) as a resource for teachers to use while creating activity plans. Key concepts will be reviewed in each indicator. Teachers will be able to connect the key concepts to activities that they create, and learn how to prepare developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans.

*Fee Schedule: Trainings/workshops are free for parents, families, grandparents, and foster parents; pre-registration required. There is a $7.00 fee for childcare providers needing DCDEE credits.
