Surry – Protective Factors Framework: Children’s Social and Emotional Competence

This training focuses on the importance of helping children become more capable of handling life’s challenges socially and emotionally as they grow.  Children’s social and emotional competence is seen in their ability to communicate clearly, recognize and regulate their emotions, establish and maintain relationships with others, and engage in problem solving and conflict resolution.

All trainings will be closed 10 minutes after the starting time. Anyone who enters the training after that time may sit in and participate but will not receive DCD credit. .  * Lamination and Die Cut weeks are as follows: Oct.7th-Oct. 11th, Nov. 4th-Nov.8th, Dec. 2nd-Dec.6th. Trainings and Child Development trainings will be offered throughout the year.  Please find fun activities for your child to attend while you are in training.
