Smart Start of Yadkin County – ITS SIDS

Our Child Care Health Consultant will give participants an overview of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Together you will identify SIDS risk factors and describe ways to reduce the risk of SIDS in child care. The national standards for sleep safety will presented and resources will be shared for both child care providers and parents. Topics include NC SIDS Laws, child care licensing rules for safe sleep, as well as practices and creating a safe sleep environment for infants and toddlers.

*All trainings will run from 6:30pm – 8:30pm unless otherwise noted. A $5.00 registration fee is required for all trainings, with the exception of CPR/First Aid, which will be $30. Cash or checks are accepted methods of payment. Checks are to be made payable to Smart Start of Yadkin County.
